How to Request a Course Account in D2L

Each semester D2L automatically creates a new course for each course section listed in Banner. Therefore, course accounts in D2L do not need to be reqeusted for catalog courses.  However, D2L course accounts can be created for other reasons such as developing a course, a sandbox account, a department or group account account.  Follow the directions below to request a non-catalog course in D2L.

To request a course account in D2L:

  1. Go to the D2L login page, http://www.eiu.edu/d2l.  (Do not log in to D2L.)

  2. Select the "D2L Course Account Request Form" link on the left navigation.
