Fall Open House + Panther Tailgate

Get a closer look at life at EIU during our Fall Open House. Tour campus, meet faculty and admissions staff, and learn more about becoming a Panther.

After the Open House, stick around for the tailgate and cheer on EIU Football as the Panthers take on Indiana State. Your registration includes a free game ticket for you and one guest.*

Daily Campus Tours

Monday-Friday | 10 am or 2 pm

Every daily visit includes a guided walking tour, a chance to explore a residence hall, and an engaging presentation that showcases what makes our campus community so special. Want to make your visit even more meaningful? We can personalize your experience by connecting you one-on-one with the Honors College, faculty in your academic area, campus resources that align with your interests, and/or an EIU admissions counselor who can answer your questions about majors, costs, scholarships, student life, and campus amenities.

Transfer Fridays Campus Tours

Fridays | 9 am

Thinking about making EIU your next campus? Our transfer visits are designed for students coming from a two-year or four-year college. You’ll tour campus, step inside a residence hall, and meet with an admissions counselor who can answer your questions about transferring to EIU.

We can also make time for the parts of EIU that matter most to you. When you register, let us know if you’d like to meet with faculty in your academic area or explore campus resources and opportunities that match your interests.

Self-Guided Campus Tours

Visit any time!

Explore EIU on your own schedule with a self-guided campus tour. Sign up before you visit, then stop by the Admissions Office to pick up a tour folder, T-shirt and water bottle. You may also be able to meet with an admissions counselor while you’re here.
