Concert Band

Concert Band Header

The Eastern Illinois University Concert Band consists of 60–70 musicians and is a non-auditioned ensemble. Approximately half of the ensemble members are music majors and half are non-music majors who simply love to play their instruments.  The Concert Band is designed to create a high quality musical experience for music majors and non-music majors alike. The ensemble performs traditional standard and contemporary band repertoire while providing a platform to teach rehearsal techniques for the benefit of future music educators. Concert Band performs 2-3 concerts per semester in the Dvorak Concert Hall on the EIU campus.
