Who Should Participate:
Any high school junior and senior who wishes to be a music major, music minor, or just wants to continue to be involved in music during college. This is a great way to imagine your future at Eastern Illinois University!
What:
Join us to explore the Department of Music, tour campus, attend classes, sit in on rehearsals with our outstanding ensembles, and meet with faculty and students. If you are interested in taking a lesson with one of our instrumental or vocal faculty, please let us know and we will schedule a lesson time for you. You will also have the opportunity to meet with current EIU student representatives who will escort you to and from all classes in the Doudna Fine Arts Center and also to lunch. Participants may observe classes in other areas depending upon availability.
Where:
Registration will take place in the Doudna Fine Arts Center Concourse. Most classes will take place in the Doudna Fine Arts Center, but you will also tour campus and enjoy lunch in one of our dining halls. Upon registration we will develop a personalized itinerary that reflects your interests.
When:
Monday, October 23, 2023. Registration will take place from 7:45-8:30 am, and the day will conclude between 3:00-4:00 pm.
