Position Summary:
Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for the role of Marketing Associate – Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement within the Athletic Department. This position is responsible for marketing and promotional efforts for the men’s and women’s basketball programs, as well as other designated sports. The primary focus will be on increasing attendance and ticket sales while enhancing the overall fan experience, in compliance with the guidelines of Eastern Illinois University, the Ohio Valley Conference, and the NCAA.
Note: Candidates with extensive experience may be considered for Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement -level appointment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Preferred Qualifications:
For Assistant Athletic Director-level consideration: Significant experience in athletic marketing leadership, strategic planning, and fan engagement initiatives.
Salary: $4,166.67 monthly; final pay rate offered will be commensurate with experience.
Special Instructions for Applicants:
The Civil Service Examination for this classification is a credentials assessment. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from qualified applicants.
