Assistant Professor of Operations Management

Eastern Illinois University invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track faculty position in Operations Management at the Assistant Professor level, beginning in the Fall of 2026. 

Qualifications 

A PhD in Operations Management, Management Science or related areas from an AACSB-accredited school is preferred, but ABDs close to completion will be considered. The successful candidate will be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Operation Management, Logistics, Data Analytics and AI. Also, expertise in Healthcare Operations would be an advantage. In addition to teaching in F2F, online and hybrid formats, the candidate will be expected to conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals and participate in service activities at the school and university levels.

Salary: $13,500 - $16,500 per month
