Human Resource Representative – Part-time (50%)

 

The Human Resource Department of Eastern Illinois University has an opening for a part-time (50%) Human Resource Representative.  This position will be responsible for providing basic support for all areas of Human Resources.  Duties could include:  conducting benefits enrollment for new employees, providing support to employees concerning basic human resource related issues, maintaining the HR website, and providing general office support including answering phones, handling mail and monitoring departmental email accounts.

Qualified candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  1. High School graduation or equivalent
  2. Any combination totaling two years from the following:
    1. Progressively more responsible work experience performing duties comparable to those listed for the previous lower level of the series.
    2. College course work in human resource administration, business administration or closely related field, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
