The process of applying for financial aid at the Eastern Illinois University is simple. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required to apply for financial aid using our school code of 001674. To receive full consideration for all financial aid programs, you should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after Oct. 1. In addition, if you plan to enroll in summer school an Eastern OFA summer financial aid application is also required.
After you file a FAFSA, the information is forwarded to the OFA by the federal government. The OFA processes the information and sends award letters to students starting in March indicating the amount of financial assistance applicants will receive.
Students who are applying for:
Fall 2017, Spring 2018 or Summer 2018 must complete a 2017-2018 FAFSA
