Music: Audio & Recording Technology

The Audio and Recording Technology program allows students to specialize in the growing field of music technology and recording arts. Students learn more about how music technology intersects with the field of music and will enjoy working with professional music studios, software, and equipment, learn from nationally recognized audio engineers and composers, and explore concepts associated with acoustics, music business, and recording technology.

Hands-On Experience

  • Develop technical and creative skills through projects that mirror professional recording and production environments.
  • Participate in internships with recording studios, live sound companies, media organizations, entertainment venues, or other audio industry partners.
  • Explore oppotunities to gain hands-on experience supporting live concerts, theatrical productions, lectures, and special events while working in the Doudna Fine Arts Center.
