What You'll Learn

EIU's Art Education B.F.A. prepares students to teach visual art across grade levels while continuing to grow as practicing artists. The curriculum combines broad studio study in drawing, design, painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, jewelry and metalsmithing, graphic design or digital art with art history, elementary and secondary art methods, educational psychology, inclusive teaching, assessment and professional education.
