"I chose EIU because I felt it was going to be a great avenue for helping me achieve my goals. ... Being a young woman, I wanted to feel safe walking to and from my classes by myself, especially at night. While visiting Eastern in high school, they explained the emergency safety features they have all around campus that can alert the police instantly. These features made me feel very safe and confident that I would feel comfortable being by myself on campus."Molly ForsytheHuman Services | Class of 2025
