Extra Help Assistant Bowling Maintenance

Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a part-time Extra Help Bowling Maintenance position in EIU Bowling Lanes. This position will work under general supervision to perform repairs and maintenance of bowling equipment. Duties will include:

Adjustments and repairs of automatic pinsetting machines and related bowling equipment.
Adjust and test relays, solenoids, transformers, electric motors, and wiring for defects.
Disassemble, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components or parts.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Maintain inventory records. Assist with supply orders.
Provide assistance with special events such as league nights, bowling classes, and parties.

General understanding of mechanical components is required. Previous experience working as a bowling lane mechanic is preferred. Salary range is $28.00 to $32.00/hour.
