Andy is doing an awesome job in his outreach efforts to students and various groups on campus. Students know him by name, and he is often seen helping them with their research needs in the research help lab in Booth Library. Andy has also built partnerships with many RSOs on campus to help with library exhibits and programming. Thanks for all your hard work, Andy! Go Panthers!

Jim was an amazing chair for the RISE Conference. His leadership was significant in making this the most successful and professional conference yet. 

Will has been an amazing colleague, giving willingly of his time and energy to issues related to diversity, inclusion and equity. Will had jumped in when needed and contributed significantly to make the RISE conference a great success. 

Katie has been doing an amazing job as Interim Chair! This semester has been challenging for our Dept for a number of reasons and Katie has dedicated herself to keeping  things running as smoothly as possible while continuing to ensure our students’ needs are kept at the forefront of all decisions.  Her commitment has definitely not gone unnoticed!

Every time I have had to fill phone requests, Becky is always fast and helpful. She makes the process painless. Thank you so much!

Dennis was right about to bite into a delicious hot pocket for a very late lunch when I barged in needing access to a Doudna room. Without hesitation, Dennis popped right up to get me what I needed as he always does. This kind of team support helps me do my job to the best of my ability and I am always grateful for his and his staff's commitment!

Shoutout to Doyle Terrell for doing an outstanding job in Coleman Hall this semester. Doyle has taken on extra responsibilities due to another BSW being off on medical leave and Doyle and his newly hired student workers are doing an outstanding job. It has not gone unnoticed. We appreciate you very much, Doyle. Thank you for all you do.

Jana is one of the brilliant minds behind interlibrary loan at Booth Library. So much library work goes on behind the scenes to make access to information fast and seamless. Jana is one of the folks who makes sure our students get the books and chapters and articles they need from all over the world so they can write great papers and do excellent research. Thanks Jana!

Deborah always employs her sharp mind and wonderful creativity to the work she does at Booth Library. She deserves our thanks for her dedication and care for our students! 

Heather is a wonderful Library Specialist and a great person to work with. She will go above and beyond to assist our students and she deserves many thanks and respect!

Shout out to Mallorie for being so helpful in getting our scholarship up and running on Academic Works!! - You were right on top of it and we got it sent out to the students so they can start applying - THANK YOU for your kind assistance. GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Just wanting to say this Department couldn't function with out Patty. She takes care of more things than can be mentioned in this small space. She's the most even tempered, unshakeable, most knowledgeable individual that I know at EIU. She is one of the most valuable assets this place has! Thank you isn't enough - but that's all I can do right now. 

Purchasing agreements sure can be a tricky thing with the university , but Connie did a great job of keeping the lines of communication open and kept us up to speed on how things were moving along and was great to work with! Glad we were able to get this finalized and up and running. Thank you Connie!

Lauren has been doing a tremendous job this year.  She has taken on advising our NRHH organizaion on her own and the group is thriving.  She has also dealt with some difficult student situations that have occured in her area and handled them with care and compassion. She is has been a tremendous leader and mentor to the staff she supervises.  Great Work! 

Patrick is a tremendous asset to EIU!  This year he is having to fill in for another staff vacancy while also doing his own job.  He has also had some stressful situation arise but has handled these all with professionalism and grace.  We are thankful and grateful for all that Pat does here in Housing and Dining.  

Thank you so very much, Mallorie, for fielding 45+ phone calls and emails from me...on an average day. You have made navigating AcademicWorks into more of a team-building exercise than a Game of Thrones scenario. You whistle while you work--sometimes literally, but always at least figuratively. Thank you for your cheerful, awesome work.

Thank you Janet for all you do for the College of Health and Human Services.  You make the building a pleasant place to spend the day and you are a truly kind person.

Big time thanks to Tracey Hutchison in the Graduate School for quickly and efficiently assisting with some coding and advisor changes needed for students in the old FCS and new Human Services degrees! Wow! She's good stuff!

JT, you are awesome!  Thank you for always going above and beyond when a department needs something.  You take care of issues quickly and thoroughly.  EIU is lucky to have you!!!

Between it being a historic building and with construction going on, the McAfee gym probably isn't the easiest place to keep clean, but Paul has been doing an excellent job. His hard work and friendly attitude have made him an excellent addition to the building! Glad to have you over here Paul!
