Congratulations to our official Director of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, Amanda Starwalt!!! So glad to see your days finally come! It’s well deserved and I’m excited to continue to witness the great impact you make on the office and our students! 

You have been an invaluable resource as we continue to learn the intricacies of building courses and entering information in ASTRA. Thanks to Susan Allen who helps make sure all our students have those most important learning tools--books! Susan's good cheer and patience with the most complicated book order situations makes life easier for faculty and students. Hats off to you, Susan!

Ellen runs the VPBA office professionally.  She's always been helpful and pleasant  She keeps track of our department's  paperwork and emails copies of approved requests.  That sounds simple, but often it can be very complicated.

In short, Ellen being in VPBA makes our work easier and I'm sure she has the same impact on many other departments.

Doris will be so missed in the Financial Aid office. She has made such an impact on our students, our office, and the entire Communiversity! She is well deserving of her retirement time after the years of service she has graced us with. Congrats, Doris, but don't forget to visit! Forever EIU! 

Words do not BEGIN to describe how amazing Paula has been over the past 2 months as we worked on packing up the entire department, including 40+ years of documents, etc., for our move to Klehm hall.  

There is NO WAY we would have survived this without her attention to detail, anticipatory problem solving, and sense of humor as we went through old documents, office supplies older than I am, etc.

Coleman Hall is extremely grateful to have Jennie Thompson as the summer BSW. Coleman Hall hasn't been this clean in a long time. Jennie has taken on the work of what used to be done by five or six BSWs; she works extremely hard and even works up until the end of her shift. Her hard work has not gone unnoticed. She does exceptional work and is always friendly and outgoing. Give this gem a bonus!!! She deserves it. I can't say enough good things about her. 

Angi's genuine, bubbly personality and contagious laugh make our work days that much more enjoyable. Additionally, she can always be counted on to do excellent work. She is truly an asset to this institution. Keep up the great work, Angi!

Penny's friendly, compassionate smile and great work ethic make coming in to work an absolute delight. Thank you for all that you do, Penny!

Amanda always goes above and beyond what is expected of her. In addition, she brightens everyone's day with her kind-hearted smile and calming voice. Her compassion for others is beyond measure. Thanks for being such an asset to our workplace. You are one of the reasons we actually enjoy coming in to work here!
