Jennifer is the most amazing person at her job, and is always willing to help out and stop what she is working on to answer any question.  Jennifer you ROCK!!!!

Shannon Bell is the Assistant to the Dean in the College of Education - she is very knowledgeable and willing to help others when needed. We are all better when we help each other.  Thank you Shannon for being a team player. 

Jay's images are always fantastic. It's helpful to have a lot of good options to accompany stories in the alumni magazine or in the alumni e-newsletter. 

Thank you Kenia from Admissions and to your GA Adam Sandoval for your help at GlobalFest last weekend!  From filling in for a student who got sick at the last minute for cascarones to co-teaching "Dancing Through Mexico" for four hours straight, you guys created a high-impact experience for the attending high-school students that will for sure make them remember EIU when they are ready to look for a college!  Gracias, jóvenes, los queremos y los apreciamos mucho.

Jon Crask and his team at Panther Print and Copy were as always a great help in designing and printing materials for GlobalFest Illinois, a celebration of world languages and cultures that our department hosted last weekend for high-school students.  The faculty at the Department of World Languages & Cultures appreciates Jon's expertise at design and the reliability of his team in quickly turning around print jobs and even delivery to Coleman!

A huge "Thank you" to Jeff whose expertise, patience, and constant support are invaluable to our Department! Our GlobalFest Illinois event (200 visitors) went smoothly--and your kind support was much appreciated!  Gracias! Danke! Merci! from all of us.

Over the past several years Ryan has worked tirelessly with our group to address rebranding efforts (banners, checklists, promotional sheets), which have transformed our marketing/recruitment strategies and focus on enrollment here in the School of Technology. Kudos to her for her professionalism and going the extra mile to deliver these materials in a timely fashion.

I want to thank Mindy Hurst for going over and above managing the Environmental Health Safety Office server needs.

I want to thank Jeff Bailey who is the EIU Roofer.  Jeff is always conscientious.

He checks for roof leaks when it rains and follows up.

I'm sure it is not always easy being a staff of one, but Jeff is pleasant and helpful.

Lauren, thanks so much for your ever-so-prompt assistance EVERY time I have requested help from you...most recently in my efforts to assist a donor's estate representative in getting unusual questions answered regarding an endowment fund.  The praise and gratitude from this person regarding your timely responsiveness was from both heart and head.  Thank you!  You are a living example of our EIU tag line..."All In for You"...and in your case the "you" is everyone...students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and friends.  Carry on!

Talking with a colleague last week who had tears in her eyes as she told me how Amanda Zucco had helped her with retirement concerns. Amanda, you are a gem. Thank you for your knowledge, your dedication, and your big heart.

Carla constantly goes above and beyond! She is always willing to assist others, when she can, and follows up, even if she is unable to help. She has even offered to explore matters to find out where an issue might be. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROFESSIONALISM AND KINDNESS - YOU ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

ENORMOUS THANKS to Chad Franks for helping the Academy of Lifelong Learning update the SP20 Program Guide in Adobe InDesign.  Our student graphic designer was away and a few corrections were needed before the electronic version could be shared.  WITH GREAT APPRECIATION, THANK YOU.

Whenever I work with Carla it's a pleasure. She works hard to make sure the issue is cared for.  I appreciate all the hard work she does with her office and willingness to help and answer my many questions.  Thanks for all you do Carla. 

Sandy has one of the greatest "can do/will do" attitudes I have ever seen.  Her graphic designer skills are outstanding, and she has shown miraculous "turn around" time for getting projects completed when urgently needed.  Sandy routinely goes "above and beyond the call of duty."  Thank you, Sandy!  You are a true asset to EIU, particularly your home department--intercollegiate athletics.

Sarah's customer service skills ROCK! She is always so helpful on the phone and always willing to figure out any problems that might arise with the payroll and always comes back with a prompt answer to my many questions.

A huge shoutout to Dr. Gabe Grant for assisting and taking the lead on many of our Open House efforts/initiatives  While it takes a combined team effort, because of Dr. Grant's continued vision and leadership, the School of Technology has been highly successful in marketing and drawing attention to our four new undergraduate programs. Keep up the incredible work Dr. Grant!  

Wendy Lane is the Office Manager in the Department of Counseling and Higher Education and is amazing! She assists everyone with their needs and comes up with creative ideas in the office to involve graduate students and faculty. She even provides spirit for every holiday season! The office is thankful to have her and appreciates her hard work!

Dean Newell is leading the search committee for the new Dean of the College of Education. He is congenial and constructive while displaying professionalism, patience, and precision. Search committees are exhausting as the work is extensive, but we've proceeded smoothly under Dean Newell's leadership!

Aaron is the man! We can always count on him to assist with his expertise on projects and is willing to tend to issues in a very timely manner so that we can take care of the EIU community's technological needs. Thank you for your continued support and great work ethic! 

On his day of, WHILE SICK WITH THE FLU, Robert really stepped up to shed some light on an issue that was outside the scope of just about everyone else on campus. He is a tremendously valuable asset to the EIU community and shows his dedication to it day in and day out. 

I just want to shout out to Zach for his tremendous work in his community this year.  Not only has he brought a steady leadeship to his RA staff, he has proposed ideas to advocate for improving his residents' living situations.  Zach has also done a phenomenal job being involved professionally with our professional organizations for the region.  Zach designed an excellent Lunch and Learn event that brought a group together to hear a faculty member speak, which was reall beneficial to all who attended.  Zach has been a constant problem solver and handled some difficult situations with residents.  Overall great work this year!  I really appreciate your dedication to the departmnt and EIU. 

Libby has been a tremendous asset to the housing team this year.  She has built a great community with a lot of buy in from residents.  I am so grateful for her ability to handle difficult situations.  Libby has gone above and beyond to find resolutions to several roommate conflicts and worked tirelessly to promote caring and understanding, while finding great solutions for her residents.  Thank you so much for your hard work and innovative mind.  Your willingness to provide great ideas to improve the resident experience is very much appreciated! 

Alexis has done phenomenal work this semester.  She has built a great community in Pemberton hall and really created a sense of belonging and buy in with her residents.  Most notably, Pemberton Hall had a haunted house in the month of October that raised over $1000 for Hope East Central Illinois.  The event was incredibly engaging and a lot of fun for members of the Charleston community to attend.  Keep up the amazing work that you do! 

Jeff has made a point to be available to meet with potential students during their campus visit time. Thank you for being flexible and changing meeting times for these students. You are making an impact on their college decision and their decision within their major. 

I am so grateful for all of Jeff’s help with D2L. He is always willing to help out at a moment’s notice, and is always so thorough in getting to the bottom of any issue. He is also an extremely patient teacher and excellent communicator, meaning he doesn’t just solve problems, but teaches you how to avoid/solve problems in the future. Jeff’s can-do attitude has helped me to maximize the potential of what D2L can do for me and my students. Thank you Jeff! 

Sandra went above and beyond this past week when she helped me take my large togo order from the food court to my family in the parking lot of the Union. We were running late and were down to one car so her assistance gave me time to eat with my family.  She is another shining example of who we are at EIU!!  Thank you so much
