That I was in Charleston on the 28th last month. I was standing at the door of my store when the shooting commenced. The men were mostly strangers to me— hence I can’t say who was engaged in it. After the men engaged in the shooting left the Court House Yard, I saw John H. OHair with them with a pistol in his hand, trying to rally them.
