Open House
June 22, 2026
Come experience EIU up close and personal at our Open House event! Explore our beautiful campus, chat with friendly current students, professors, and staff, and get all the answers to your EIU questions. It's a day of fun and discovery you won't want to miss! Plus, there's a chance to receive one of five $2,000 scholarships during the welcome!
Summer Campus Tours
Monday-Friday, from May 18 - Aug. 14
Each daily visit includes a walking tour of campus (including a residence hall) and a one-on-one meeting with an EIU admissions counselor. We can also help personalize your visit by arranging conversations with Financial Aid, the Honors College, professors in your major, and more!
Self-Guided Campus Tours
Visit any time!
If none of our visit opportunities work for your schedule, or you'd just prefer to visit campus on your own, then sign up for a self-guided tour! Follow our self-guided tour map at your own pace and see all of what campus has to offer. If you sign up here, you can stop by our office to pick up a folder, T-shirt, and water bottle, or meet with an admissions counselor if you'd like.
