Fifth day of April
In case of the United States against Madison Houcke.

Levi Fiznier deposeth and says that on Monday about five o’clock he was taken prisoner near Daniel Shraders by Eli Rodgers Calvin Rice John OHair and carried by them up above I. Bruces and put in Siler’s Wagon Frank & Wesley Daugherty John Siley & Madison Haucke protested against them carrying him away prisoner and wanted to turn him loose and let him go back to town but Bob Mclane John Frazier and another person not recognized prevented them from turning him loose. On this side south of Wm Kleblacks he left the wagon. Frazier Mclain Rice said they could take care of him.
