Title of Position: PROGRAM ASSISTANT - AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Department: TARBLE ARTS CENTER (TAC) Reports to: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
The audience development manager is an integral position at the museum, ensuring a positive visitor experience with a goal of fostering a desire for further engagement with the museum on multiple levels. As a member of the senior leadership team, the audience development manager is a wellspring of information, all of which is found by active participation with the museum’s programming and initiatives. They act as the leading visitor experience champion across the organization, collaborating and enlisting the active support of staff throughout the institution while advocating for visitors with diverse interests, abilities, and needs as well as managing and developing the museum’s membership program.

The Civil Service Examination for this classification is a credentials assessment. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from qualified applicants. Upon successful selection of a candidate, all scores will be voided from this Program Assistant – Audience Development Manager register.
