We are so grateful to have Jessica as our leader at the EIU Counseling Clinic. She is a positive role model for students and staff. She works to provide support and advocacy. She ensures everything in our office is running as smoothly as possible. Her hard work does not go unnoticed. Jessica, thanks for all you do!

Lindsay is a wonderful counselor and mentor. She works to build genuine relationships with students and staff. We are grateful for the years of service she has dedicated to EIU and so blessed to have her in our office. Lindsay, you are appreciated!

Corey is a wonderful counselor who is loved and appreciated by all. Corey, congratulations on receiving the DEI Advocate Award - you deserve it! We are so lucky to have you!

Lee Ann does such a wonderful job working with students at the EIU Counseling Clinic! She greets each student with a warm and kind presence. She works to remind our students that they are seen and heard. We are so lucky to have her on our team!

You rock, Breanne! You've overcome many challenges in the last couple of months. The students who receive services from the Accessibilities and Accommodations Office are lucky to have you in their corner. EIU is a better place because you are here!

Thank you for all of your hard work and efforts into writing and publishing a monthly student affairs newsletter. It has been a great addition to our division, and I always look forward to getting the next issue!

Thanks to you and your staff for managing a large influx of international students and their diverse needs. It has not been an easy road to travel, but your efforts have made a big influence on our campus culture. Thanks for helping enrich our world with the presence and blessings of our international students.

THANK YOU for all of your help and assistance in straightening out our P-card challenges and difficulties. You're guidance has helped make our lives a lot easier and less complicated.

When I was struggling to complete the first travel voucher of my career, Nicole walked over to my office and guided me through the process. She went above and beyond to help me, and I am grateful!

Christie Otis has helped navigate Library Technology Services through two major transitions this semester: offering tech checkout at the LTS desk and transitioning to the PaperCut system. She is organized, thoughtful, and collegial in the work she does. Thank you, Christie!

Emily has really stepped up in her first year as a counselor. Emily has taken on some difficult situations right away as a new counselor and handled them well. She has also stepped up by serving on many committees, assisting with groups in the clinic, helping with the planning of the Mental Health Fair, and other outreach projects. I could not do this without you!

Shout out to Brittany. Brittany knows her job inside and out. She has been thrown into some difficult situations in the past semester and handles them with grace. Brittany also works well with other offices to ensure the best plan of action is taken for the students. She puts in a tremendous amount of effort in her job to ensure that not only her students but also her staff are being taken care of. Brittany has also been a great support to me and has always been there in moments in which we needed to problem solve or bounce ideas off each other. She is greatly appreciated.

HUGE thank you to Lindsay for always being there for not only her students, but also the staff in the counseling clinic. She has always been such a positive role model to others and listening ear to anyone who needs it. We greatly appreciate her.

Doyle is a FANTASTIC BSW!! He is always willing to help anyone in our building out with anything that is needed. He is also willing to call whomever is needed to fix or report any problems that we encounter. Doyle thank you for being a great co-worker.

Coleman Hall Office Managers at EIU would like to say thank you to Elaine Yaw for always wanting to keep us in the loop of any changes that are occurring on campus with any technology. Elaine goes above and way beyond her job to make sure we have what we need to assist our departments with any needs. She is a wonderful addition and asset to our jobs and never delays to help a faculty/staff in need!! Elaine WE can't thank you enough.

Leslie- Thank you for being there to answer questions and walk us through the current events and happenings with our Union. Several of us a new and you are always willing to stop and explain it all. Thanks for always being available.

Thank you for always having a positive attitude and infectious smile. You always brighten our day.

Thank you, Dan, for everything you do for Campus Recreation. We appreciate so much that you put in so much effort to keep the Student Rec Center clean and ready for our students and members!

There has been many times that we have asked for help and Josh has come to our rescue. Josh, thank you for always checking in on us to make sure our equipment is still running good. You go above and beyond to make sure we have what we need to complete our work. We appreciate everything you have done for us here at PPCC.

PPCC would like to thank Jim Davis for taking time out of his day to help us complete a student's presentation poster by making two trips across campus and providing us with the materials that we needed to do the job. We could not have completed this project without your help. THANK YOU!

Thank you for upgrading our shout-outs page to the latest template. It looks and works great!

In the early afternoon of Monday November 13th I was dispatched to a traffic accident involving a car versus a pedestrian. I was one of the first on scene to the accident, but not the first on scene providing life-saving assistance. When I arrived I saw Dr. Lee Ann Price from Kinesiology, the Director of the Athletic Training Department, working on the patient prior to the Charleston Fire Departments arrival.

Lee Ann was cradling the patients C-spine, keeping her calm, taking measures to stop the bleeding. This allowed others to clear the area for CFD to arrive. Lee Ann remained on scene assisted in placing the patient into a collar and placing her on a backboard to be transported.

I have worked several personal injury accidents. I cannot tell you how many times when I arrived I wished someone had just done something! Lee Ann Price did something and was extremely helpful it shows her care and compassion for our students and the community.     

Shout out to Jennifer Reed for genuinely caring about her students and doing everything she can to make their experience at EIU a great one!  And, for going out of her way to make sure her students get connected to the resources they need on our campus.   

Thanks Beth for all you for the students that come into the advising center.  Your thoughtfulness and kindness shown to the students is top notch.  

Grace is simply irreplaceable!  She brings a positive attitude to work everyday! She keeps the office organized, stays on task and is fantastic to work with.  She helps everyone in South Quad Dining keep this hectic place running smoothly.  Thank you for all you do!!!

Emily's upbeat and can do attitude is hard to miss.  Large or small tasks are all given the maximum level of attention until completion.  I see a bright future ahead for Emily.
