Diane is a very thorough and detail oriented co-worker. She makes sure "the trains run on time" at the library and always communicates clearly and effectively. She throws a great party too! Thank you for all you do for Booth and for EIU Diane!

Thank you, Wendy, for all of your support, patience, and guidance with me this summer as I learned my role as one of the graduate assistants in the office. I recognize your experience, dedication, organization, and commitment to EIU and the success of The Department of Counseling and Higher Education.

Thank you, Mike, for your dedication to keeping Buzzard Hall clean. I experienced a real and transparent person with a hard work ethic when I met you a few weeks back.

Thank you, Darrin, for being friendly and responsible. I can tell from our short time together that you are a hard worker with a kind heart.

Thank you, Cathy, for making sure my graduate paperwork was correct and accurate. You are reliable and have an eye for details.

To preface this, Aaron hates all things shmaltzy so this will be a very understated shout out.

Aaron's okay, I guess. I don't hate coming into work. So he must not be all bad. He's not the worst boss I've ever had. He shows me how to do things sometimes.

Kristina was a Rockstar helping me get ready for a conference that she had no part in! When I was having trouble with my Evolis Card Printer, she offered to help print out name tags for me. It was a huge weight off my back, and all the conference attendees were very happy with their name tags! I cannot thank her enough!

Thanks you for all of your hard work making the south quad look nice. You have done such a great job! The flower bed north of Lumpkin is my favorite!

Sending enormous thanks to Kevin Di Bella for going above and beyond his usual responsibilities to help ensure that our non-Doudna systems were in working order and functioning for events. Kevin, your expertise and generosity are so appreciated!

Travis was INSTRUMENTAL in getting MTIEP up and running this summer. With a very fast deadline, he managed to get all the summer camp kiddos their E numbers and registered in the system so they could take their class. I was very impressed at how quickly and efficiently he worked to get everything together!

Wendy has been a fount of knowledge for me ever since I started. She has been so helpful and answered all my questions. For the questions she didn't have an answer to, she asked around until she found one. She's made my job so much easier!

The Dean has been amazing in working with staff and students for the MTIEP Summer Camp. She is helping the students have a great summer experience and an amazing learning opportunity!

Joy is great at keeping a level head whatever gets thrown her way. She is a rock in the SEL office!

Jennifer is one of those people who always goes the extra mile when you ask for assistance. Always generous with her time and friendly to work with. She is quick to find the answer to your question, promptly complete whatever needs to be completed or, if she cannot help, give suggestions where to turn. Jennifer is an invaluable asset to the EIU campus!

HUGE shout out to Marsha for helping us set up a process for creating Financial Aid Checklists for our incoming students for Orientation this summer. This is a big step in supporting our students (not to mention saving us a lot of manual work)! We are so appreciative of your hard work and willingness to make our ideas and requests real! Thank you thank you thank you! 

Thank you, James, for coming over to PPCC and taking your time to trouble shoot and fix the tech problems we had with our printers and the challenges we were having with our student connections to the server.  

Deborah always delivers our library books with a great smile and an energy that is contagious. She helped me discover today the online options for checking out books. She continued to help me navigate new digital resources that the library provides from the App Libby. I appreciated the one on one attention she provided me today. Thanks for all that you do!

Austin has been extremely helpful and efficient when it comes to our IT needs and questions. He has picked up our tickets several times in the past few months and has assisted us in getting the right technology we need for our clinic to run smoothly. 

Chad has been one EIU team member that our department cannot live without! He has been such a big help completing many of our task. Mr. Elliott is full of valuable information that I can’t help to learn something new every time he comes around. He is professional and pleasant to be around. Thank you again for all that you do for our department.    

 The end of the year brings extra work in some departments. We take notice of those working through their breaks and over the weekends to complete all the tasks flooding in. Megan has shown incredible professionalism and dedication in her department during these critical times. We appreciate all that you do:) 

Shout out to Rameen for being an integral part of the WEIU Team behind the streaming of EIU's Commencement Ceremonies online! It means a lot to be able to share my special day with family in Texas, and you're a part of that! Thank you "HL"!!! 

Major kudos to Dennis for being the mastermind behind the streaming of EIU's Commencement Ceremonies online! From set up to tear down, he is dedicated to providing a quality way for loved ones near and far to enjoy seeing their graduate's big day! Thank you Dennis!!! 

Aaron has been a kind, down-to-earth mentor who fields (sometimes silly) questions in a way that never makes anyone feel judged or looked down upon. He works incredibly hard and does an amazing job! He is excellent at prioritizing and balancing multiple tasks while keeping a level head and a calm, jovial demeanor. I am so glad to have his leadership! He helps those around him to be enabled to grow, learn, and thrive. He is the underpinning of a fantastic team that I am proud to be a part of! Thanks, Aaron!

Thank you, Karla, for all of your efforts with the TRIO/OIAE Recognition Reception on Sunday, April 30th! The students and parents enjoyed the food and beverages. We appreciate you!!

It has been a tough semester and my office has been short staffed so I have been behind most of the year.  Carrie has always worked with me to get student evaluations done even when I call or email at the last minute.  She never complains and she gets what I need done promptly.  She emailed me and asked if I needed senior surveys done because we usually do them so she was proactive. I appreciate her and her hard work. 

R.J. -- Thank you for working your tech wizardry to make remote options possible for the open sessions for the Interim Provost on-campus interview! We appreciate your skills and willingness to jump in and help so very much!
