EIU QGIS Workshop

Background

The city of Chicago has some of the highest crime rates in the United States across neighborhoods of all sizes (large and small). Some of the offenses tracked include robbery, assault, arson, theft, narcotics amongst others.

Many people believe that drug trafficking is driving up crime rates in American cities. This leads us to our crime type choice for this workshop, narcotics. Let's dig into the crime data to see which neighborhoods have higher rates of drug-related crimes.
