Eastern Illinois maintains on-campus housing facilities must maintain a fire log. Per the Clery Appendix: The fire log must be a written and easily understood record of any fire that occurred in an on-campus student housing facility. The log must include the nature, date, time and general location of each fire. Fires must be recorded in the log within two business days. Institutions must make the fire log for the most recent 60-day period open to the public inspection, and any portion of the log older than 60 days available within two business days of a request for public inspection.
Eastern Illinois must provide notice of the availability of the Annual Fire Safety Report to all current and prospective students and employees.
