University Police Department Graduate Assistantships

The University Police Department employs 1 Graduate Assistant. Priority consideration will be given to applicants who submit materials by February 15th.

A complete application includes a cover letter and a resume. Please submit applications to mvgamboa@eiu.edu. In addition, students must apply for a GA position through the graduate school. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting the Chief of Police and Lieutenant Lusk with the development and facilitation of services and initiatives, community engagement, community programs, and involvement
• Law Enforcement Research (Grant Funds)
• Creating Spreadsheets, PowerPoints, word documents, etc.
• Other Duties as Assigned

Because of the confidential, sensitive nature of the information handled, successful completion of a background check investigation and fingerprints.
