Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a full-time Civil Service position of Admissions and Records Coordinator in the Office of the Registrar. The Admissions and Records Coordinator works under the direction of the Interim Assistant Director. This position provides specialized assistance with student-centered services in areas of registration and academic records while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of academic records. Employees at this level represent the University to students and offices across campus and must provide a high level of customer service.
The Admissions and Records Coordinator will direct and coordinate functions related to the following:
The person in this position must be an individual of high integrity, possess a skill for attention to detail, and be able to make independent decisions and judgments based on applicable policy. The person in this position must be prepared to lead work groups and initiatives to improve operations and drive efficiencies. This positon interacts with current students, former students, and returning students as well as faculty and staff across campus. This position is a member of the Student Process Team, which makes decisions concerning academic records processing, compliance, and proper classification of student academic data.
