Office Manager – History Department

Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a full-time Civil Service position of Office Manager in the History Department.  This position will be responsible for general office support for the department and reports to the Chair of History. Duties for this position may include:


Qualified candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent and have 24 months of clerical/office support work experience comparable to that performed at the Office Support Specialist level of this series or in other positions of comparable responsibility.  Ability to work with diverse constituencies is essential.
