Human Resource Associate – HRIS Analyst I

Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a full-time Human Resource Associate/HRIS Analyst I in the Department of Human Resources.  This position will provide support across all Human Resource areas.  Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Providing Banner System support, such as upgrade testing, maintaining tables/forms and implementing Banner functionality not currently utilized.
• Compile and analyze data from internal and external sources to prepare reports.
• Track and maintain up to date position descriptions, oversee classification audits, and make salary recommendations.
• Supervise Recruiting and Testing staff and provide recruiting methods and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Represent Human Resources on various campus or external committees.

Qualified candidates must meet the following credentials:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Organizational Administration, Public Administration, Labor Relations, Business Administration or a field closely related to the position.
2. Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience performing professional-level human resource duties.
3. Experience working with information systems and the use of reporting tools.

The Civil Service Examination for this classification is a credentials assessment. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from qualified applicants. Upon successful selection of a candidate, all scores will be voided from this register.  Minimum starting salary is $4,211.00/month, but salary shall be commensurate with experience.
