Bowling and Billiard Center Manager

Eastern Illinois University’s Union Bowling is seeking candidates for a full-time Bowling and Billiard Center Manager.   This position supervises the operation and maintenance of the bowling and billiard center.   Duties include:

1. Maintenance and operation of automatic pin setting equipment and automatic scoring computer.
2. Responsible for cash receipts, income, and revenue sales.
3. Order supplies and equipment, as needed.
4. Organize campus and community bowling leagues and special events/reservations.
5. Maintain inventory.
6. Supervise part time/student employees.

Due to the scope of this position, some night and weekend hours are required.

Requirements for this position are:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of work experience in the operation of automatic pin setting equipment.

The Civil Service Examination for this classification is a credentials assessment.  No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from qualified applicants.
