Program Assistant: Degree Completion Coordinator

Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a Program Assistant: Degree Completion Coordinator in Enrollment Management.   This position will work to recruit and serve prospective students interested in pursuing EIU’s degree completion programs on and off campus and will work to grow our non-traditional transfer student population.  Duties will include:

• Recruiting, engaging, and supporting potential re-entering student populations.
• Market and support communication plans in conjunction with the academic departments.
• Develop and maintain partnerships and agreements with employers and community colleges across the state and nation.
• Support academic departments in developing and coordinating consistent and effective orientation processes to support new student integration.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, in any field, and experience in higher education, marketing, communications, or a related area.

The Civil Service Examination for this classification is a credentials assessment. No participation other than the submission of applicant materials is required from qualified applicants. Upon successful selection of a candidate, all scores will be voided from this Program Assistant: Degree Completion Coordinator register.
