Financial Aid Manager

Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a Financial Aid Manager position in the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.

Qualified candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent and have three years of general office experience or college coursework in any field or any combination to equal three years (30 semester hours = 1 year; 60 semester hours = 2 years; 90 semester hours = 3 years; 120 semester hours = 4 years) and three years of experience in working with student employment, student financial aid/loans, student admissions/recruitment, scholarship/grant programs or other closely-related work experience.  

Responsibilities will include:

• Processing of institutional waivers, state scholarships, and State of Illinois MAP Grant.
• Calculation of student aid eligibility, revision of aid, and other technical processes.
• Advising students and parents. 
• Other duties include office functions such as purchasing, inventory, records retention, work orders, and mail. 
• Other duties may be assigned as cross-training is essential to the position.
