My name is Mikeala and I am the Nutrition Coordinator at Eastern Illinois University. My job is to provide nutrition education to the EIU Students. To do so, I offer team presentations, host NEDA Week, do grocery store tours, and one-on-one nutrition consultations. I work to give our students the most reliable and accurate information, so they are able to properly fuel themselves.
Healthy Cooking 101!
Healthy Cooking is a series of cooking classes throughout the year that feature different themes, cooking techniques, and aspects of proper nutrition.
This program combines both lecture and hands-on experience in the kitchen. No kitchen or nutrition experience is required and the best part is you get to eat what you make! Registration is required; please click on the date to sign up for the session you wish to attend. Don’t hesitate to sign up for the sessions, as each class fills up quickly!
