EIU Health Education Resource Center

Financial Health

My name is Monique Mays, and I am the Financial Health Promotion Coordinator here at the Health Education Resource Center. I received my Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Eastern Illinois University in May of 2021. I began working on my Master’s degree here at EIU as an undergraduate student through the accelerated graduate program.

As the Financial Health Promotion Coordinator, I develop and create educational pieces to inform students on the importance of financial health. It would be an honor to assist you with reaching your financial goals. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns, as well as to schedule one on one consultations!

How I can assist you: give one-on-one consultations about financial advice, give presentations and open sessions, and provide educational resources to you that will aid in improving your financial literacy.
