Adjunct Orientation 2026

The Faculty Development and Innovation Center is pleased to host Eastern Illinois University's first Adjunct Faculty Orientation. This session offers an introduction to the university and to the resources, policies, and support available as adjuncts begin the semester.

All adjunct faculty are invited, whether you are joining us for the first time or returning to the classroom. Attendance is optional and encouraged.

The orientation will be held Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. CDT via Zoom.

Registration is requested so that we know how many to anticipate and email the Zoom link and session materials in advance.

This orientation focuses on university-wide information that applies to all adjunct faculty. Information specific to your courses, curriculum, and departmental expectations will be provided by your academic department.
