International Education Week - Global Culture Night 2019 |
Global Culture Night 2019 is almost here! This is the BIGGEST celebration of cultural diversity at Eastern and in Charleston!
GCN showcases music, dancing, singing, fashion, and any other fun performances you’d like to feature! Watch this video for a fantastic illustration of what past GCN celebrations looked like:
Global Culture Night 2019 will take place on
Thursday, November 14 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. in the University Ballroom!
The featured Red Carpet Arrival will last from 6 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
with the official program beginning promptly at 7:00 p.m.
If you have an interest in performing during this event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with what you are interested in doing. We are inviting performances from individuals and groups such as:
Singing * Dancing *Instruments
Short plays or skits * National Anthems
Poetry Readings in Local Languages * Fashion Show
Any other culturally-themed performances!
Additionally, we are offering table space for any country that will like to set up a display of exhibits from their country. If you are interested in this opportunity, please email email@example.com. We can only accept up to five tables because of available space.
We invite ALL international students, returned Study Abroad students, future Study Abroad students, and all faculty and staff to participate! Spread the word and let's meet on November 14th to celebrate cultural diversity!
