7:30 pm: Free Patriotic Concert, Kiwanis Park Daum Amphitheater The Community Band will be playing on Wednesday due to the 4th of July week. Join us for an evening of patriotic music! Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy the music! The Charleston Knights of Columbus will be selling lemon shakeups, sodas, and snacks in the pavilion. 5 pm: Gates Open for Fireworks at the Coles County Memorial Airport
Vendors and parking open at 5 pm
Shuttles run from O'Brien Stadium at EIU and Dunham Sports at Cross County Mall starting at 5 pm and will transport to and from the airport all evening.
If driving, where you enter is where you exit. From the west, you enter and exit at the main airport entrance, and from the east, you enter and exit at the 911 building.
Dusk: Fireworks at the Coles County Memorial Airport
No pets, alcohol, personal fireworks or sparklers allowed.
