Youth Programs and Camps! 

We are so pleased to offer many new and exciting programs.   You can register online with credit card or mail in the printable form with your choice of payment. 


Day Camps:

Horse-n-Around at P.E.T.              June 1, 2019                         Ages: 6 - 11

Come to Paradise Equestrian Therapy Center to experience the thrill of riding a horse! Riding a horse is exhilarating and will challenge you physically and mentally, but just like any other sport, you have to learn the fundamentals of horses and riding. You can expect to come out with a basic understanding of the animals and the sport.  Cost is $89.00.

Date:  Saturday, June 2 Time: 1 - 4 p.m.


Magic Camp: Andrew’s Wonders Seminar   

Andrew’s Wonders Seminar is a wonderful introduction to the world of illusion and magical entertainment.  The seminar is geared for any beginner who wants to know the basic aspects of presenting magic tricks for friends, family, or even a large audience.  This is not a “teach-a-trick” or “reveal-the-secrets” seminar.   Yes, the workings of some ‘tricks’ will be revealed, but the direction of the class will be more about showmanship and presentation.  Cost is $35.00. 

June 10th session:  Ages 6- - 8
Focus will be on simple tricks while still emphasizing the performance component.
Date: June 10
Time: 1:00-3:00


June 11th session: Ages 9 - 12
The group will be exposed to tricks and performance on a level that is
more sophisticated.
Date: June 11
Time: 1:00 - 3:00

June 12th session: Ages 13 - 18 
Emphasis will be on showmanship and presentation.
Date: June 12
Time: 1:00 - 3:00


Monday, June 17
Each age group will have the opportunity to showcase what they have learned!


LEGO Advanced Robotics         June 17 - 20, 2019                Ages: 10 - 12

Students will be designing robots in order to complete several different challenges: drive and modify a robot to retrieve a box, build a robot that can store and sort colored balls, design a robot that can get across a chasm, and more! Prior experience with LEGO robots (either NXT or EV3) is preferred.  Cost is $109 per participant. 


Intro to Fashion Design           June 24 - 27, 2019   Ages: 4th through 8th grade

Join us to learn all about basic hand and machine sewing skills, use and maintenance of a sewing machine, and an up-cycling design project (making something old new again).    Cost:  $109 which includes materials.  Camp will be meet Monday June 24th through Thursday June 27th from 1:00 - 3:00.  Cost is $109.00 per participant.  This includes all materials. 



Intermediate Engineering LEGO Camp    June 24 - 27, 2019   Ages: 8 - 10

Work with LEGO construction materials to design and build exciting projects. Explore simple machines, motors, gears, and motion.  there will be individual creative challenges and team projects.  Great opportunity for girls and boys. Camp will meet Monday June 24th through Thursday June 27th from 9:00 - 12:00.  Cost is $109 per participant.    


LEGO WeDo Robotics Camp    July 8 - 11, 2019   Ages: 8 - 10

Involve yourself with engaging learning experiences in science, literacy, and math.  Use LEGO WeDo materials to inspire problem solving and creativity! Participants will work on themed projects as well as have challenging creative time.  Great opportunity for girls and boys. Camp will meet Monday July 8th through Thursday July 11th from 9:00 - 12:00.  Cost is $109 per participant.



Introduction to LEGO EV3 Robotics    July 15 - 18, 2019   Ages: 9 - 12

Build and program with LEGO EV3 robots.  Program the robot to move, sing, and dance! Incorporate sensors to give the robot intelligence to make decisions.  Not experience with robots or programming is expected.  Camp will meet Monday July 15th through Thursday July 18th from 9:00 - 12:00.  Cost is $109 per participant.



Beginning Engineering LEGO Camps   July 15 - 18, 2019   Ages: 6 - 8

Design and build exciting projects with LEGO construction materials.  You will work with levers, gears, pulleys, and wheels to make cards, catapults, and more. There will be time each for both individual creative challenges and team projects.  Great opportunity for boys and girls. Camp will meet Monday July 15th through Thursday July 18th from 9:00 - 12:00.  Cost is $109 per participant.
