Every effort will be made to understand the complaint and/or concern and respond in an appropriate manner. Many issues are best resolved when they are addressed directly with the person involved.

(ex: Unfair grading practice or inconsistent policies and/or procedures). Students in online programs have additional options for expressing their concerns.
For students participating in an online program or course through Eastern Illinois University who have a concern about their experience with EIU other than an issue with a final grade, you are encouraged to first contact the Director for your program or the School of Extended Learning. If your concerns are still unresolved, the following options are available to you:
