OSHA 10 and 30 Training
The School of Extended Learning at Eastern Illinois University offers an OSHA 10 and an OSHA 30 training course for immediate certification. This beneficial opportunity is offered for the convenience of community members, industry leaders, and EIU students.
The OSHA 30-hour General Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in general industry. Specifically devised for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors; the program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues.

Become a Lifeguard Instructor
When: March 29 - 31, 2019 OR April 4 - 6, 2019
Where: Lantz Arena Ray Padovan Pool
Instructor: Sarah Daugherty
Cost: $237 plus books ($200 paid to EIU, $37 paid to American Red Cross)
The American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor course will offer participants the opportunity to become a certified ARC Lifeguard Instructor. In order to enroll in the course, participants must have current Lifeguard certification and be at least 17 years of age.
Upon registration, Instructor candidates will be granted access to the Red Cross Online Learning Center. Instruction materials may be downloaded at no charge from www.redcross.org or purchased for $64 from redcross.org/shop.
