Thank you for the work you put into the Activate Your Inner Activist Conference this past Friday. From the keynote, to the breakout sessions, to the closing speaker - they were all very educational and interesting! 

Amanda has been a true asset to the Student Insurance Office. She always answers the phone with a smile and goes the extra mile to provide outstanding customer service. Thank you for all you do. I appreciate you!

Keri brings a smile to work every day. She is such a pleasure to work with. She provides excellent customer service to our students and all she works with regarding Student Insurance. Thank you for all you do. I appreciate you!

Carrie has been a real Rock Star with the Civil Service Council ornament fundraiser. She took responsibility for processing all of the orders. This project was a huge success, partly due to all of her efforts. Thank you for all you do Carrie. I appreciate you!

Lauren took on running our student staff selection process this year and I can't say enough how seamless it's been.  Thank you for helping to promote the wonderful things that our department does and for helping us recruit some amazing future student leaders!  We appreciate you!  

A major shout out to Alexis Straub.  I couldn't ask to work with a better person.  She has created such an amazing staff dynamic with her team.  She makes every person feel valued and that they can accomplish anything they put their mind to! Even through the tough times you always find a way to look for the positive in every situation.  Thank you for making your complex an amazing place to live!  

A big shout out to Josie this year!  Her commitment to staff and students has been outstanding.  Recently she personally designed and created planners for our staff to organize their programming/ curricular efforts more effectively.  She has also taken it upon herself to assist in doing a review on how we train staff in an effort to create a more effective program.  Thank you for all that you do for housing and dining! We really appreciate you!  

Jenny is such a kind-hearted and considerate person. We are all truly blessed to have such an amazing colleague/staff person! She truly cares about our students and has been an invaluable support for our office (and likely many others) and students in numerous situations that have arisen over the years. She is absolutely an EIU panther we should all strive to model. Thanks Jenny!!

I’ve been hearing fantastic things about you and the excellent service that you are providing to our on-campus students who find themselves in quarantine or isolation.  I wanted to let you know that your efforts are being noticed and are having positive effects. Thank you for you and you team's hard work on the COVID-19 Contact Tracing. The past year has not been easy or simple, and the dedication and professionalism in keeping EIU healthy and safe have been beyond expectations. Well done!

Emma - You have done a terrific job coordinating the IDPH Covid Testing, and now the Shield Illinois COVID testing.  Your effort and dedication has greatly helped the university in mitigating our COVID risks! Thank you for your continued dedication and hard work in making EIU a healthy and safe campus for all!

I was needed a HDMI adapter for a class I was teaching today.  Jeff had one and donated it for our departmental use! He got it to me right away!

We appreciate Ke'an, she was a key role in getting this year’s CSC fundraiser on track and going. Not only did she help with bringing new ideas, she spent a lot of energy to make sure we had the best possible outcome.

Vicki's always willing to work through any reporting problem to support Academic Affairs, the Colleges, and Departments.  More importantly, she is committed to meeting the needs of our campus community.  Kudos!

David is a huge asset to EIU. He is always willing to jump in and assist wherever he is needed. Thank you David for your time and hard work.

Lana is a wonderful colleague who is always willing to drop what she is doing to help others.  I regularly reach out to Lana for help with difficult questions, and without fail she provides a thorough and timely reply.  EIU graduate coordinators and graduate students are so lucky to have someone as intelligent and dedicated as Lana to rely on for answering questions and fixing problems.

Teresa is always pleasant, helpful and professional.

(and many days we see her towards the end of her 4am shift)

Teresa is great at keeping our building clean and the restrooms stocked up.

We know it's not easy because the team she's on takes care of about 11 buildings!!

Nate is always so easy to work with, never seems to mind helping point me in the right direction. He entertains me while I put it all together and is just so friendly! Nate doesn't just tell me what to do, he provides excellent examples so I can work through it and learn hands-on so it sticks. Super quick to hop on a screen share, he usually gets me over a bump and on my way in a flash!

I am shouting out Dawn Zachow for being readily available to assist with questions and troubleshooting around the technical aspects of the preventing harassment and discrimination annual training.  She was patient in her responses, walked through situations and responded in a timely manner.  Thank you for all of your assistance!  You are awesome!

Becky always takes care of our department very pleasantly and efficiently.

She seems to be always available when we need her.  She is quick to answer questions and offer solutions.

We are glad Becky is at ITS to assist us.

This shout out is for Tara and the WHOLE IT team that help the HERC save so much time with our new tracking system for our required courses! Dawn, Connor, Tara, and whoever else had a hand in it - thank you so much! You're the best and all great teachers when it comes to stuff that isn't necessarily my strong suit!
