Good innovators acknowledge a need then strive to engineer a solution – the best innovators listen. You are the best!

Great job conceiving the EIU Financial Aid Estimator! What a valuable advising and recruiting tool. It helps relieve student’s and family’s concerns by providing some answers the FAFSA cannot provide yet.  You are one of our most innovative and effective leaders on any given initiative on campus. Your staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful – and seem to have an admirable (and enviable) camaraderie. EIU is a better university because of you!

Thanks Jerrod for the great job in the Physics Department! You are awesome to work with and easily resolved our situation. We appreciate how easy you are to work with EVERY time we call you for help!

Emily has graciously helped us so much this semester. We email her when we need help and she is there to fill in. Thank you Emily for all of the extra time you have put in for our department, it is appreciated.

Mark came in at midnight to get our environmental monitoring system reconnected in University Archives. The library it thankful, and we know that our archival collections are staying comfortably cool and dry. Three cheers for Mark!

Thank you Debbie for your help in working with the print center to deliver the Tarble's postcards to all of the academic departments this month! We appreciate all the care you show us (and other departments, I'm sure) daily. EIU is truly lucky to have you!

A big thank you to all of the University police officers that were working on February 27th during the basketball game. There was a person who required supervision that had gotten separated from his caregiver son. We always have an officer at the game and thats who we went to for help. Wow….withIn minutes more were there to help. The person was located and they did an outstanding jobs of putting a search team together quickly. It was so appreciated by the family and we should be so proud they are so good at their job. We are lucky to have them!

Thank you, Teri, for helping us get a room unlocked on the third floor of the Union last Saturday. Because of your quick thinking, the room was unlocked well ahead of the start of the workshop taking place in the Martinsville Room. The TRIO staff appreciates your assistance!

Thank you, Cathy, for assisting us with room reservations two weeks ago. I know we had to keep rearranging days/times but you handled it like a pro! We appreciate your diligence in helping us with this endeavor!

For going above and beyond to make advising and administrative tasks easier and more streamlined, even when doing so is difficult and challenging.

A huge thank you to Dennis and all of the Doudna staff who helped make last weekend's performance such a success. The Chicago Tap Academy provided a master tap class to our local DanceLife tap students and then went on to put on an amazing show. The owner of the company had so many positive things to say about how well our staff represented the culture of EIU, and our local community as a whole. Bravo to everyone working behind the scenes at Doudna!

A huge thanks to Kiersten on running Lincoln Hall and being so easy to work with! You are truly valuable to this University!

"Alex" is an HR officer in Old Main. She seems to love her new job, which is evident in her voice on the phone. She is SO pleasant to talk with and is very knowledgeable even though she hasn't been here long! She said she plans on staying in our HR for a long-time, and I hope it is true!! What a blessing it is, to have someone so polite to answer our questions and find answers to our questions. Thanks!!
