A big shout out to Keethana Saraswathula for conducting an excellent session on Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for the FDIC in the ITC lab at EIU! The information shared was incredibly valuable, especially her insights into accessibility features, which highlighted how to make documents and presentations more inclusive. Additionally, the knowledge about live-presenting PowerPoint presentations was particularly useful. Thank you, Keethana, for your expertise and engaging session!

I would like to extend a heartfelt shout-out to Josh for his exemplary service and dedication. His unwavering commitment to assisting with IT issues has been nothing short of outstanding. Josh consistently demonstrates incredible helpfulness, promptness, and kindness, generously offering his time to ensure that our technological challenges are swiftly and effectively resolved. His expertise and support make him an invaluable asset to Eastern Illinois University, not only as an exceptional employee but also as a cherished member of our EIU community. I want to shout out to David Smith, Amy Annis and Lisa Canivez for helping a transfer student locate the specific office on campus that she needed last week - the studetn was not our major. The student had her 8 month old with her and so to help her David Smith guided her to where she needed to go. I know she appreciated it and I appreciated holding her 8 month old for a little bit while Mom did her business. Your welcoming demeanor from all three of you was wonderful to see and I am sure that the student was more than satisfied with her first visit to her new school. Go Panthers!

Would like to thank Amie Calvert for overseeing HR the last several weeks. The guidance and support that she is providing the department and campus, in addition to performing her own duties, is appreciated.

Alex was our HR lead for our most recent hiring. Alex was phenomenal to work with and did a fantastic job. I truly appreciate the investment and contributions Alex made to this effort, especially the flexibility and responsiveness. Thanks!

I want to take a moment to thank Eileen for always being there for the BSW's, taking our calls, keeping our paperwork strait, entering our leave time in the books for us and being genuinely kind. The facilities BSW's truly appreciate all that you do for us every day.

Upon hearing that a prospective student intended to forego college because they could not afford it, Paula quickly pivoted from what she was working on to give this student's situation her full attention. An hour later the student returned to my office, elated, to tell me that attending EIU wasn't going to cost her anything. Thank you Paula

Thank you for supporting our special circumstances and study abroad students. I can't count how many times this week alone you worked some Financial Aid Magic (FAM!). Thank you for all that you do!

Jess is always willing to quickly jump and look into a problem to find a quick solution whenever I need assistance. This week he went the extra mile and did a lot of prep work to help make an important update/upgrade go so much smoother.

Nick always happily and helpfully answers inquiries and emails. He handles a lot of moving parts in his position as a space administrator. We are lucky to have you, Nick! Thank you for all you do!

Lindsay wears so many hats at EIU and wears them well! She always has a positive attitude and gives all her work 100%.
