After just joining the Education Department staff, Wes has already been very helpful in a variety of ways. His friendly demeanor and competence is much appreciated. Tech issues rarely seem to be timely and when my computer monitor went on the blitz in the middle of a project. Wes made himself available and was able to quickly fix the issue so that I could finish the project on time. Thank you and well done! :-)

Mark is always willing to help and assist whenever he sees a need. We all appreciate his dedication to EIU and for always bleeding blue. Thank you, Mark, for being you and for your unwavering loyalty and commitment.

Fantasy is always thinking of others and has gone above and beyond to make people feel valued and like they matter. Thank you, Fantasy! You are noticed and appreciated.

As Career Services was setting up a process to have work study job descriptions posted on Handshake, Dawn's attention, advice, and action to get the data work done behind the scene was a true example of collaboration, knowledge, and customer service. She is always prompt and courteous while being technically strong. We appreciate her help so much!

Laura has been incredibly helpful in setting up and managing all work study jobs including posting the job descriptions, working with the hiring departments, closing the applications, and working out the "bugs". Her efforts will make this a seamless and efficient process for all departments and, especially, work study eligible students. Working with her has been a pleasure!

Thank you for the smoothest transition to Student Success! The IDS degree program and its staff are in very good hands now! Thank you for serving as a great leader and inspiration to keep moving forward! Your dedication and commitment to EIU is commendable, but your dedication to your staff and students is awe inspiring and motivating. We are looking forward to this new partnership!

I have been dealing with Human Resources quite a bit the last few weeks. Alex always seems to have the answers to my questions and she really treats them like they are important to her. I really appreciate it Alex!

I have worked with Nate more lately than ever before and it seems like every time I ask him about something he is super helpful. He also has a great attitude during the process and goes above and beyond. Thank you Nate!

My daughter - along with dozens of other local children - attended the EIU Department of Theatre's inaugural Junior Musical Theatre Camp over the past couple of weeks and I can't say enough about what an extraordinary experience Anne, who directed the camp, and her assembled staff provided for these kids. The camp culminated in two wonderful stage performances that obviously benefited from a number of talented young performers but also undoubtedly from a lot of effort and care from the adults involved to make it all come together so seamlessly in the matter of just a couple weeks. Kudos to Anne and to EVERYONE else who was involved! Bringing these kids onto campus early and giving them these sorts of memories will pay dividends down the road when they're deciding what they want to do after high school, I'm certain of it.

Alex has been such a guiding light for those of us who are new to our roles in HR. She is knowledgeable, supportive, and patient, and she always has time for anyone who needs her. She has a tremendous work ethic, and EIU is better because she's here. I'm so thankful I get to work with her and learn from her every day.
