Andrea has been amazing through the process of fixing my leave balances as HR works to update their systems. Her patience and attention to detail, as well as giving up her lunchtime to meet with me, has been wonderful! Thank you!

Thank you so much, Christina, for always having books ready for our instructors at Danville Correctional Center. I know the extra work is rough sometimes, but you are helping us change lives on the daily! Our program there has doubled in size since last semester! Thank you for always being gracious while making sure we have what we need! You are valued and appreciated!

Catrina is a wealth of knowledge and is always willing to talk to students to help them understand the process of loans. The whole loan process is one of the most confusing parts of financial aid and there is no one better equipped to help our students! Thank you for all that you do!

Mandi has done an incredible job setting our office up for success for the school year. Thank you for making sure we are prepared for all of the curveballs that might come our way!

Laura has worked tirelessly to get the new work study program up and running! Thank you for making the transition as seamless as possible! Thank you for always putting the student first!

Kembra went above and beyond today to help solve a problem. Thanks to Kembra, our students were served in a quick, efficient manner. We appreciate everything you did to help out, Kembra!

Mallorie is a major asset to the campus as a whole! We would not be able to function as an office without Mallorie's expertise and her heart for our students. Mallorie is always willing to do whatever it takes to help our students with all that they encounter! Mallorie makes our students feel seen and heard, and that sometimes is all that they need! Thank you Mallorie keep up the great work!

Lynze spent a lot of extra time this week going above and beyond for our incoming students! Lynze is always willing to take that extra step for our students, whether it be walking them through loans, scholarships, or just helping them navigate all of the craziness that comes up. We are lucky to have Lynze in our office!

HUGE thank you to Ryan! I came to her with a project with a super tight deadline, and boy did she come through! I'm so appreciative of her making time to accommodate the project in the first place, and coming back with an excellent product! You're a rock star Ryan, thank you again!!!

Rob is a tremendous BSW who takes pride in his work and in making our beautiful Blair Hall sparkle. Every summer he puts a considerable amount of time into deep-cleaning the classrooms and stripping and waxing the floors; come see for yourself how they shine. Rob is also kind and considerate to our students and to the faculty and staff that call Blair Hall home. We are lucky to have him here, and at EIU. Thank you Rob.

Thanks to Cathy for going out of her way--during a really busy time in our office!--to help a student get their employment verification completed correctly for their graduate assistantship! With the deadline quickly approaching to turn in that paperwork, a student was running into several obstacles to meet it. Cathy worked to help the student the best she could within the guidelines she had to follow and succeeded!

Thanks to Jurnee for their hard work with various projects this summer, especially this week. They do a lot of behind-the-scenes work, but his kind nature and open heart also makes students feel welcome in the OAA. It wouldn't be the same without you. Thanks!

Shout out to Chad Franks! He has been tirelessly helping me create posters for my hallway. SCJ gives over 30 scholarships a year and keeping them straight is an undertaking to say the least. He has tirelessly updated and corrected the copy to our liking without complaint. I appreciate you Chad!

Vanzal has done an excellent job this summer handling our student scheduling and any questions thrown his way. He has a wealth of knowledge he brings to this job, and he always manages to get the job done, despite the chaos of large summer customer counts. We could not do this without him!
