This past weekend in a very high pressure situation/problem Blake remained calmed and fixed the issue when nobody else could!

Without Blake I honestly don’t know how our department would function! He is our Glue Guy!

Holly's commitment to her students' well-being is amazing. She goes above and beyond to ensure her students are cared for and connected to resources.

Huge shout out to Nate Brown for going above and beyond to find a stand up desk for my office and make a crank for it! I appreciate all the hard work he does for EIU and knowing how busy he and his crew are, it meant a lot that he took the time to do this :)

Huge shout out to Beth Kastl for doing the work of at least two people all while making the Academic Advising office a welcoming and happy place to be at EIU! You always go the extra mile to help students and let them know that they are important. EIU is lucky to have you! :)

Juli has done such a great job learning the job of admissions officer for the graduate school in a short six months! With little cross-training, Juli has shown her tenacity and dedication to making sure she was doing her best in her new position. She's a cheerful and fun coworker and has been a great addition to the staff.

Always upbeat and ready to help, Lana is the heart of the graduate school. Her exceptional patience and understanding (both of the graduate school and of the people needing her help) make her invaluable to the day to day function of the office. We're so grateful to have her as a coworker!

Dana is always willing to help out and answer all of my questions at any time. She is the true definition of a team player.

Thank you, Darla, for all your guidance with making travel arrangements for candidates coming to campus! Your willingness to help and your patience with all of my questions is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Jessica is a phenomenal team leader and has cultivated an environment of encouragement, positivity, and unwavering support within the Counseling Clinic. The implementation and execution of new models and approaches to care has not only allowed better student support, but has also prioritized decreasing counselor burnout. Thank you, Jessica, for everything you do to support EIU!

Lee Ann offers a safe, welcoming space for students as they begin their mental wellness journey through the Counseling Clinic. Lee Ann prioritizes helping each student feel seen, heard, respected, and important. Because of her ability to quickly build safety and respect within her office, students are more likely to follow through with their treatment plan goals. Thank you, Lee Ann, for your positive impact on our students' lives!

I have been told many times by students and staff how Georgia's smile, warmth, and generosity can change the trajectory of their day. Though she is incredibly busy, Georgia takes time to help others however she can; be it making potholders so we don't burn our hands, working to combat food insecurity for students, or sharing words of encouragement. Thank you, Georgia, for all you do!

Emily has been such an amazing asset to the Counseling Clinic! Emily goes above and beyond to advocate for and support her clients on a daily basis. Her space is inviting, peaceful, and emits unconditional positive regard. Thank you, Emily, for all you do!

Each time I see Jody, he is positive, present, and shows genuine appreciation for others. He makes sure each person he interacts with feels seen, heard, and important. Thank you for supporting both co-workers and students alike!
