Ron checked to ensure our committee had what we needed to be productive as we utilized the library space. He offered to help pack up when we finished our work and accompanied an elderly patron who was a bit confused about directions find his way down to the main floor and to the exit he needed.

Christie ensured our technology was set and was helpful when we encountered glitches. She gladly helped us get materials from the parking lot into the library and made herself available to support our work in the library space. Much appreciated!

Arlene ensured our committee was taken care of across the two days we worked in the library space. We appreciate you!

Great job conceiving the EIU Financial Aid Estimator! What a valuable advising and recruiting tool. It helps relieve student’s and family’s concerns by providing some answers the FAFSA cannot provide yet.  You are one of our most innovative and effective leaders on any given initiative on campus. Your staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful – and seem to have an admirable (and enviable) camaraderie. EIU is a better university because of you!

Mark came in at midnight to get our environmental monitoring system reconnected in University Archives. The library it thankful, and we know that our archival collections are staying comfortably cool and dry. Three cheers for Mark!

A big thank you to all of the University police officers that were working on February 27th during the basketball game. There was a person who required supervision that had gotten separated from his caregiver son. We always have an officer at the game and thats who we went to for help. Wow….withIn minutes more were there to help. The person was located and they did an outstanding jobs of putting a search team together quickly. It was so appreciated by the family and we should be so proud they are so good at their job. We are lucky to have them!

Thank you, Teri, for helping us get a room unlocked on the third floor of the Union last Saturday. Because of your quick thinking, the room was unlocked well ahead of the start of the workshop taking place in the Martinsville Room. The TRIO staff appreciates your assistance!
