Director of New Student and Family Programs
Position Description
The director of New Student and Family Programs provides university wide leadership in the development and implementation of programs and services for new students and their families, including comprehensive orientation and transition programs that support the matriculation, retention and success of new students to Eastern Illinois University. This position provides visionary leadership for comprehensive programs and services which annually services approximately 2,000 students and a range of new and continuing family members. The director will serve as a communication link between other campus services and programs for new students. In addition, the development of new programs and retention strategies will be a primary focus.
