Summer 2014 Study Abroad Trip to Europe

study abroadStudents from the School of Business recently participated in a Study Abroad trip to Europe. The first portion of the trip involved spending four days in the capital city of Zagreb, Croatia. This included several company and cultural visits and was hosted by the University of Zagreb's School of Business and Economics.

Next, the group boarded the MS Mirabela, a chartered sail boat for a 7-day cruise along the Adriatic Coast, visiting towns and companies along the way.

Zaragoza, Spain was the final destination which also included visits to Barcelona and Madrid. The students visited various Spanish businesses, educational, historical, cultural and political institutions. Students toured a leading manufacture of paper for corrugated cardboard, a leading and internationally recognized wine producer, and spoke with representatives from the Chamber of Commerce in Zaragoza, as well as one of Spain's leading banks, Ibercaja.
