Lexie is an above and beyond Graduate Assistant who not only is extremely intelligent but goes out of her way to help in every situation. She is always willing to rearrange her day in any way needed to ensure she's there for others. I'm extremely appreciative of and thankful for her! Thank you, Lexie, for saving my day!!!

Thank you, David for being extremely responsive twice over the past two weeks! In both cases, you were quick to take action, patient with my questions, and made an extra effort to help us get an important initiative across the line at the last minute. Having excellent colleagues like you, makes our jobs so much easier.

I would like to give a shot out to Brad Green for always stepping in to fill needed roles for departments and being responsive to the needs of Chairs, faculty, and staff. He approaches tasks with positivity and demonstrates his commitment to EIU each and every day.

A huge shout-out to Bethany for her continual updates on the Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation website. The navigation is incredibly intuitive, and the study plans\checklists are clear, concise, and easy to locate. This is an invaluable resource for both our students and advisors—we truly appreciate everything you do!"

On behalf of the Department of Human Services and the Aging Studies and Human Services graduate programs, our thanks and appreciation to Michelle Morgan for her initiative and work on our internship and independent study forms and processing procedures! Michelle is a long-time, highly valued EIU employee, and we're grateful for her and her dedication!

David is great because he is always willing to help. He loves solving various technical problems, and he does so with genuine kindness. The FDIC, and EIU as a whole, is lucky to have him.

I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation for Rita. She is always ready to help with a smile and has been a fundamental part of helping students in the School of Technology program take the next steps towards a masters degree. The success we have had in elevating so many of our students into our Accelerated Graduate Program is in no small part due to her tireless efforts. Thank you, Rita!

I would like to provide a big shout out to Nate Atkinson, Brian Barthold, Muhammad Zubair, and Alex Thomas for their contributions to the development, design, implementation and launch of the new EIU Application Tracking System (ATS) for Civil Service hiring. And also to Kasondra Harrell and Danielle Goehner for their support in pre-launch testing and post-implementation insights. The entire team worked exceptionally well together and were very responsive in getting this across the finish line. This was an incredible opportunity to collaborate with very talented people, and we couldn't be happier with the results, THANK YOU!

I want to give a mega shout out to Brad Bennington and staff who assisted in certifying degrees so quickly in December 2025. This work made it possible for me to get all our initial teacher licensure candidates entitled on January 2nd and made it possible for those who had acquired mid-semester jobs to be employed as fully licensed teachers.

Bethany is an invaluable member of the KSR department. She is not only the department's academic adviser, but also an informal adviser to faculty and staff. Her work often goes under the radar, but it is greatly appreciated!

Shout out to Frankie for always thinking of ways to elevate the student experience here at EIU. She has been instrumental in updating the EIYou Panther Experience course for first year students while also serving as an RSO advisor for various student orgs. In addition, she serves as one of the advisors for her sorority. Frankie definitely bleeds EIU Blue!

Diane's enthusiasm and collaborative nature have been instrumental in giving Graphic Design students an opportunity for exhibition design and to share their board game designs. Thank you for all you do!
