We are so happy you have chosen Eastern Illinois University to call your new home! New Student Programs wants to do all we can do to help you learn to navigate campus and connect to the university. New Student Programs provides two programs (participation is mandatory) to help you:

Orientation, Advisement and Registration Program

Participating in this program will allow you to meet with an adviser, register for classes, get your Panther Card, meet other incoming students, and more! For detailed information about the Orientation, Advisement and Registration program, click here. 

Transition to Campus Program

This transition program will aid you in settling into life on campus.  The programs starts the weekend prior to each semester and continues through the first six weeks of the semester. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get involved and learn about many of the programs EIU has to offer!
