Dr. Melody Wollan received her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska in Management, with specializations in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Organizational Theory, and Gender and Communication Studies.
Her research examines individual coworker responses when organizational exits occur, CEO and feedback seeking behavior, post-retirement employment, and HR and franchising issues. Most recently, she wrote a book chapter on strategies for managers in managing workplace bullying.
She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at EIU in Human Resource Management, Staffing and Development, Organizational Behavior and Group Dynamics, Management Seminar, and Strategy and Policy.
Dr. Wollan has been at EIU since 2005 and has been involved in educating graduate students at the MBA and PhD levels since 2002. She has served as the Coordinator of Graduate Business Studies since 2012 and is the academic adviser to each MBA student.
