MSND: Nutrition Education Application

All students applying for a MSND degree (either the Nutrition Education or Dietetic Internship option) will need to complete these components. The application is two-fold: 1. request admission into the Graduate School at EIU, and 2. admission into the MSND program. Both of these processes will be completed within the MyEIU Admission portal. When applying to the MSND program, you can select the online or on campus Nutrition and Dietetics Option: Nutrition Education Option as your preferred program. The required application components include the payment of a non-refundable $30 application fee to the Graduate School; your personal statement stating why you are a strong candidate for the MSND: NE program; three letters of recommendation; resume; and transcripts. These application components are clarified in the MyEIU Admission portal.

The Fine Print

• Transcripts: Prospective graduate students who completed their undergraduate program at EIU, do NOT need to include transcripts in their application for Graduate School at EIU. You can mail transcripts directly to the Graduate School, 600 Lincoln Avenue, Charleston, IL 61920. The Graduate School also accepts electronic transcripts from accredited US colleges and universities sent via eSCRIP-SAFE, Docufide, Parchment Exchange or directly from the accredited U.S. College and University. Please have the transcripts emailed to Juli Bishop.
• Application Due Dates: Applications are accepted year-round.
